No need to spend hours trying to create the perfect sponsorship packet

from scratch! We've compiled our TOP 3 right here! Here are the most important things to keep in mind when creating sponsorship packets that raise more support:

  1. Lead with Your Mission Even if this is the 50th time you've hosted this event, always start with your mission and WHY you exist.  Assume this packet will be forwarded from a board member and the recipient knows nothing about your organization. This may be the first time many of the people who get your sponsorship packet are learning about you and your mission. Be sure to have your mission front and center!

  2. Include Impact Stats Educate your audience with infographics to show your numbers reached, percentages of positive change, etc. Remember to appeal to both your emotional and analytical donors!

  3. Connect Sponsorships to Your Programs Use your sponsorship levels as another opportunity to educate potential sponsors about the costs of your programs and services. Even at the $50K+ levels, you can map out the direct support and impact those funds will have for the participants you serve.

  4. Get Creative Tables and guest tickets are the most common benefits, but don't forget about unique opportunities to let your sponsors stand out! Offer them a VIP reception, photo booth, signature cocktail, after-party, swag bags, and other fun sponsorships.

  5. Keep the goal in mind! Most likely you are raising support to fund your organization year-round or fund special programs/initiatives. Be sure to make that connection and don't be afraid to ask for what you need to be successful!
